Meet Star (Tara) Moore, B.A.
Dual Psychology and English
Clinical Psychology Research Associate
My given name, Tara (Tar-ah), is Hindi for "star." A name (and heritage) I grew to appreciate and embody as I grew older. The stars have always provided guidance: indicating when to sow and when to harvest, guiding my kinfolk north to freedom. Through writing, research, and clinical practice, I aim to live up to my namesake by bridging unsung healing traditions with clinical science to help others heal from stress and trauma. I am applying to Clinical and Counseling Psychology PhD programs to expand the conversation on mental health and holistic interventions to improve overall well-being.

Educate. Enable. Expand.
Bridging healing practices and clinical research

Starlight
Starlight illuminates, inspires, and guides. This is a space where healing practice meets clinical inquiry—and where curiosity leads the way. Here I will educate (share knowledge), enable (offer practical tools), and expand (broaden perspectives) on what integrative mental health can look like.
